Our History

How AimForge evolved from a spreadsheet to a standard

AimForge started in November 2020 as a private Google Sheet used by three friends who kept losing ranked matches after upgrading from 1080p to 1440p monitors. The default Windows pointer scaling was wrecking their micro-adjustments, and existing online calculators used outdated engine multipliers that drifted by up to 18%.

By March 2021, we released v0.8 as a static web tool with hardcoded values for CS:GO and Valorant. The community response forced us to automate patch tracking, so we built a live API that pulls official sensitivity multipliers directly from developer patch notes. In 2022, we added OS-level acceleration neutralization and DPI-to-eDPI mapping. 2023 brought mobile controller support and cross-platform sync. Today, AimForge runs on a dedicated calibration server, processes real-time input telemetry, and maintains a 99.94% uptime record. We update our multiplier database within 24 hours of every major title patch, and our open calibration logs are publicly auditable. The tool remains free, ad-free, and focused entirely on preserving your trained aim.
